If you want to lose weight and get in shape, you need to stop speaking to yourself in a way you wouldn’t speak to your children, a friend, or even an enemy.
It’s powerful to recognize that the the way you talk to yourself is unproductive and keeps you from achieving your goals.
How motivated would you feel to perform well for a boss that continuously disrespected you? A spouse who spoke to you the way you talk to yourself? A friend who only had negative comments to say to you? Now imagine being around those same people – only this time they are encouraging you, supporting you, and speaking kind words to you…how different is your motivation level now?
Our subconscious mind hears the self-talk and responds to it in a similar way, so make sure your self-talk is loving, supportive, nurturing, and forgiving.
Make certain the words you think, are the words you want to become.
Look in the mirror everyday and tell yourself positive reaffirmations. You are worthy and deserving of good health and amazing things. Learn to love yourself unconditionally.
Treat yourself with the respect and love, and you will get the body, relationships, and life you deserve.
