Summer is the Season and the Reason for Eating GOOD Food!

If you’re like me, you love summer time! The skies are blue, the flowers are blooming, the grass is green, days are longer, and the earth feels alive! But one of my favorite things about summer is all of the fesh, healthy, produce, growing everywhere you look!

In season food is better for you. Think of all of the toxins and chemicals used to keep packaged food from going bad before it is eaten. Fresh food is alive and filled with all of the nourishment your body needs to keep you happy, healthy, and alive.

Do you have a garden? A local farmers market? It’s easy to eat fresh fruits and vegetables during the summer months. The food is easier to find, it’s more affordable, and there is nothing like biting into a fresh vegetable or fresh fruit.
